# taskfuel: manual setup

> One of three alternative ways to set taskfuel up, for clients that only take MCP servers through their own settings UI. Here the user does the setup and you hand over what they need.

Some clients (ChatGPT, Claude on the web, Open WebUI, n8n) can only add an MCP server through their own settings UI, which you cannot reach. Say so plainly, give the user the server URL `https://app.taskfuel.ai/mcp` to add as a Streamable HTTP MCP server in their client's own settings, and tell them the sign-in happens in the browser afterwards. Do not guess at a config file you cannot write.
